What is it?

A simple yet powerful way to distribute information throughout your organization. eBusiness Report Gateway with Reporting Services is a web-page or portal making a host of reports and information available to whomever (if authorized) and whenever it’s needed. All kinds of reports and information can be made available for viewing at the user’s request. These reports are tailored to user’s needs and preferences.

Where is it installed?

The application is installed on a server (database or reporting server). There is no additional software or install for users. Users access the reports via Internet Explorer (IE).

When is it used?

These reports are real-time and on-demand. Whenever a user wants to view a report they simply open and IE session, go to the eBusiness Report Gateway, and select the report they wish to view. The report will access the live reporting database and display the report.
